Hailing from Pondicherry, he is a meritorious doctor from JIPMER the prestigeous Institute of National reputation. He did his MBBS and MD (Obs & Gyn) between 1993-2002. He went on to obtain the National Board Certification (DNB) the subsequent year at New Delhi.
He also passed and obtained the Royal College Membership at London MRCOG (UK) in 2013. He has been the teaching faculty at the Cancer Institute (WIA) Adyar Chennai in the Breast and Gynecology Oncology Division. He has also held teaching positions at JIPMER Pondicherry, VMKV Medical College and AMCH Salem during his 15 years experience.
He has been trained in laparoscopy by renowned American surgeons in 2004 -2005 and now has done more than 7000 successful laparoscopic surgeries. He performs level 5 (Complex) laparoscopic gynecology procedures in Salem City and is an invited surgeon at select centres across Tamilnadu. He also has trained many Doctors in Laparoscopy surgeries.
Being a passionate surgeon he excels in doing rare and complex gynecologic procedures like cancers (Gyn Oncology) and birth defects in women (Reconstructive surgeries). He loves to handle referrals of complicated cases and complications resulting from gyn surgeries.
